It's kind of interesting to stop in at the phone company to pay your bill and be asked "When are you going to be opening your office; we've had people calling us wanting to know?" (My listing has been in the yellow pages since June!) That also happened at the hair salon and at the bank. Those questions kind of "sum up" for me the sense of community that exists here in Baker County. Since my family and I moved here 9 years ago, we have enjoyed the relationships so easily formed among the residents here. I practiced in my hometown of Jacksonville for 14 years and now find myself quite excited to be "localized" with no commute time! I look forward to serving you and your families in our newly remodeled location at 571 S. 6th Street (between Nina's Hair Salon and Charlotte's Web Florist). White High School in 1974. He then received a B. A. in Chemistry from Newberry College, Newberry, SC from 1974-1978. After some post-graduate work in Biology at both the University of Florida and Jacksonville University, he continued working as a Chemist with the City of Jacksonville's B.E.S. Unit, until he started the U-F College of Dentistry in 1980 earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1984. He married is wife, Judy, in 1981, and their first of six sons was born in 1984. Their last child, a DAUGHTER, was born in 2002. (She has a twin brother.) "I've been
told that having kids at this age will keep me looking and feeling

I never thought that when we moved to this county in
1995 I would ever give up my dental practice in Jacksonville to
begin a new one in Macclenny. But as we begin 2003, that is just
where I find myself. As Judy (my wife) and I reminisce about the
past 22 years we are both amazed and amused at these turn of events.
Matt is now 19, having graduated from BCHS 2002; Donnie is 17 and
a Senior at the high school; our 5 year old, Jonathan, is very active
and spends his days being a 5 year old. Last September 2002, the
twins, Nathan and Anna, were born, so you might see why I have enjoyed
taking a couple of months to reorganize/recuperate! ©
